What do your kids do after school? If you’re looking for a welcoming and engaging atmosphere, with a healthy snack every day, lots of opportunity for outdoor play and physical activity, supervised homework time and plenty of play with friends, Youth Workers and volunteer high school students - look no further than O-YA’s After School Club!
O-YA’s program also includes physical activity, healthy food choices and nutrition education, wellness and personal health education (group reading, art, crafts, bullying prevention, building self-esteem and more). Space in this program is limited, and registration is accepted on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Youth registered in O-YA's 2024/25 After School Homework Club also will receive a 15% discount on the cost of camp day programs at O-YA!
We are launching a pilot project of allowing a LIMITED number of Grade 1 students to join our after school program.
Ages: Grades 1 - 6
Schedule: Monday - Friday (on school days; September, 2024 - June 2025)
Time: From OPS pickup @ 2:45 pm - 5:30 pm
Full Time Cost: $300 / month per participant
Part Time Cost: $20 / day per participant (paid monthly in advance)
Part Time Option
For the 2024/2025 school year, O-YA is offering a NEW Part Time option. Participants can now register for as many days a week as you like (on a fixed schedule; subject to availability).

Program Withdrawal / Payment Policy:
Participants in O-YA's After School Program must provide 1 full month notice to withdraw payment from the program. For example, if you cancel registration in the middle of May, you must pay for the remainder of May, plus the full month of June.

- Part Time spaces are offered at a cost of $20 / scheduled day per participant.
- Parents / guardians are required to provide participants' part time schedule(s) upon registration for the full school year. With one month's notice, this schedule can be changed (subject to availability).
- Missing days: If a participant has to miss a scheduled day, please send us notice as soon as possible. The monthly charge will remain the same.
- Adding days: If a participant wants to add an unscheduled day, we require a minimum 3 days notice (subject to availability). The charge for these additional days will be added to the following month's payment.
- O-YA's Part Time After School option is subject to the same Program Withdrawal / Payment Policy as Full Time (detailed below)
