Learn to Run is for those new to running and people who want to get back into running.

Importantly, Learn to Run is a fundraiser for the Osgoode Youth Association (O-YA). All of our instructors are volunteers, and there are no associated program costs, so 100% of registration fees go directly to running O-YA's amazing programs for local youth!
Have you always wanted to learn to run a 5K, but have no idea when, where or how to start training? Have you been running a bit but need help with technique? Or, are you looking to join a weekly group of dedicated runners to help keep you motivated? Then Learn to Run is for you!
Learn to Run will be hosted by community volunteers (and seasoned runners) Linda Panich Langlois, Mary Blaney, Meaghan Baker and Jessie Cullen. Hosts will each share running tips from their own experience, but our focus will be on warm up, stretches, strides, and actually running.
All participants Learn to Run will have exclusive access to the Beginner Run Club Facebook Group. This 'members only' Group will be a space to share weekly program updates, encouragement, tips and some fun! Having some running partners helps keep you accountable, makes you less likely to skip workouts, and makes runs more fun.

Please note that Learn to Run is a rain / snow / sun activity. Please dress for the weather as we will be outside for approx. one hour each week regardless of what the weather is doing. An exception to this rule is if there is significant accumulating snow, freezing rain or thunder / lightning. O-YA's Learn to Run crew have a Facebook group. All class notifications will be posted to this group, so please join!

The aim of Learn to Run is to get participants ready for the 'Goode Run, but anyone can join! Visit the following link to register for the 'Goode Run or learn more: https://raceroster.com/events/2022/54941/goode-run-2022

Don't forget to 'Like' the 'Goode Run page on Facebook, and visit the 'Goode Run page to stay informed on other fun items to come!
Looking forward to running with you!
