Learn Something New

This summer, join O-YA and Learn Something New!

In this fun new program, join O-YA Youth Workers on Thursday afternoons and learn things you never imagined about Special FX makeup (with one of our favourite special guests Alina!), the Circus, Upcycling / Learning to Reduce Waste, Bat Houses (We're making them! All the supplies you need will be porch delivered to you), Card and Magic Tricks and Photography (with Emily - outdoors in person!).

What: Learn Something New
Who: Grades 7 - 12 (including Transition Years*)
When: Thursday afternoons; July 15, 22, 29 and August 5, 12 & 19
Time: 2 pm - 4 pm (July 15: 1 pm - 4 pm & August 19: 1 pm - 4 pm)
Where: Zoom (link will be provided to registrants). Photography will take place outdoors, in person, around O-YA
Cost: $25 for all 6 sessions or $5 for each session

​O-YA Virtual Youth Centre Participant Policy 
Participants must be residents of rural south Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (Osgoode Ward, Kars, North Gower and Manotick).

*O-YA's summer programs are open to students in Transition Years. This means, if you are going into Grade 7 in September, or are just graduating from Grade 12 in June, you are welcome to join!
