Indigenous Summer Solstice Festival Field Trip

O-YA has received funding from Ottawa Community Foundation to host another incredible cultural program called Indigenous Village. Indigenous Village will teach rural Ottawa youth about 6 different aspects of Indigenous culture. The goal of this program is to collaborate with local Indigenous community partners to teach youth about the resilience and diversity of Indigenous cultures and histories.

At the end of our Indigenous Village Program all of the youth who have registered for the full 6 weeks of sessions are also going on a field trip to the Summer Solstice Festival! And we have extra space on our bus! If you are interested in attending the summer solstice festival with us grab a ticket below.
Ticket includes entry to the festival, bus fee and the first 16 participants to register will have the opportunity to participate in a beading workshop.

What: Summer Solstice Festival Field Trip
When: Saturday June 25, 2022 10:00 am - 1:30 pm
Cost: $20

O-YA thanks the Ottawa Community Foundation for providing funding that contributes to hosting Indigenous Village.
