Bethlehem Live at Trinity Bible Church
November 24: 6 pm – 8 pm
November 25: 5 pm – 8 pm
Become a member of a family traveling to Bethlehem. Meet the Wisemen, Shepherds and Angels as you experience the story of baby Jesus.
Dress warmly as your guided tour starts outside and ends inside with refreshments
Friday December 1, 2017
6 pm – 7 pm: O-YA is hosting a pre-parade gathering on the front patio with hot cocoa by donation.
6:30 pm – 7 pm: “Glow Yourself” Contest presented by NROCRC Rural CDF project. Youth of all ages are invited to meet at Vibration Studios and use glow sticks to dress themselves up. At 7:00 pm youth will join the parade to show off their glow! Glow sticks are provided and the top 3 most creative “glow ups” will win prizes!
7 pm: Parade of Lights down Osgoode Main. Starting at Nixon rd and ending at Foodland. Float entries are welcome and this year we will be awarding prizes for best lights, best business float, best overall float and a people choice! Stay tuned for the voting portal!
8 pm: Fireworks down at the community centre. Continuing with the Canada150 Celebrations OVCA has been provided funding by the Rural Community Building Grant from the City of Ottawa to provide fireworks this year!
8 pm – 10 pm: Ugly DIY T-Shirt Party and Christmas Movie for grades 7 – 12. NROCRC Rural CDF project is providing the supplies for teens to make their very own Ugly Christmas Tee’s at O-YA. This is a free event however registration is required. Please e-mail [email protected] to reserve a spot!
Saturday December 2, 2017
7 am – 11 am: Breakfast with Santa
Santa is making a stop in Osgoode! Skip the malls and have your family pictures taken with Santa in Osgoode! Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast and while you are there, do some Christmas shopping at their popular Silent Auction featuring a display of various local products.This year, they are bringing back the popular Winter Wonderland for the kids! The Fred Alexander room will be filled with activities the kids will love including face painting and crafts.100% of the proceeds raised at this event go directly back into the Osgoode Co-operative Nursery School
12:30 pm: Christmas Vibrations!
Performance by Zip-e the Elf and face painting by The Wild Rooster
1 pm: ORMHA alumni hockey game

7 pm: Sign making workshop with Willow and Rose at the Red Dot (This event is sold out!)

8 pm – 1 am: Tis the Season to Give Christmas Party in Osgoode 2017 (This event is sold out!)
This year’s proceeds will go to two places: the bulk of our proceeds will go to the Osgoode Food Cupboard again, and this year also a smaller donation to the Osgoode Village Beautification Project.

1 pm – 3 pm: Everyone (from babies to seniors and everyone in between) is welcome to join the fun for Osgoode’s Canada 150 Skating Day event! Enjoy a FREE skate, Canadian music, cupcakes and a gourmet hot cocoa bar. Osgoode’s Canada 150 Skating Day theme is Canadiana Lumberjack, so bring your flannel, buffalo plaid and beards!
