O-YA is going white water rafting this summer — and you’re invited!
We’re providing:
  • 🚌 Bus transportation
  • 👥 Youth worker supervision
  • 💲 Subsidizing all spots
This creates a rare and unique opportunity for local youth to try something new, build confidence, and have an unforgettable summer experience.

Trip Details
What: White Water Rafting with OWL Rafting
Date: Thursday, July 23, 2026
Time: Bus departs O-YA at 6:30 AM Returns to O-YA at approximately 5:00 PM
Location: Drop off and pick up will take place at: Osgoode Youth Association (5479 Osgoode Main Street) The bus will travel to: OWL Rafting (40 OWL Lane, Foresters Falls, Ontario)
Who Can Attend? Youth in Grades 7–12 Transition years are welcome! This includes: Youth entering Grade 7 in September 2026 Youth graduating Grade 12 in June 2026
Cost: $25 per person (purchase tickets below) Spots Are Limited!

About the Rafting Experience
Participants will enjoy OWL Rafting’s Low Intensity Rafting Half Day Trip — a fun and beginner-friendly introduction to whitewater rafting.
Youth will paddle together as a team while an experienced guide steers the raft and provides instructions along the way. The trip travels through:
  • exciting whitewater rapids,
  • beautiful Canadian scenery,
  • and calm pools where participants can float and body surf in the warm water.
The rafting portion covers approximately 6 km of river adventure.

After the Rapids
Once the rafting portion is complete, participants will transfer onto OWL’s signature pontoon boat to enjoy a freshly grilled meal, and a scenic cruise back to the resort. At the resort, youth can continue the fun with access to: sandy beaches, kayaks, canoes, and stand-up paddle boards.
