The 'Goode Run is the Osgoode Youth Association’s (O-YA) largest annual fundraiser. In 2025, the event raised over $30,000 to support local youth programs. O-YA relies on the funds raised at this event to operate — and because the run is entirely volunteer-organized, 100% of proceeds go directly to O-YA. That’s a race you can truly feel good about!

What is the 'Goode Run?
You can run or walk the 2K or 5K or do both! Departing from and ending at Osgoode's Stuart Holmes Arena; the 2K & 5K are multi-surface runs through Osgoode Village. The 'Goode Run is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Osgoode Youth Association (O-YA). The Osgoode Youth Association relies on funds raised at the 'Goode Run to exist. The 2025 'Goode Run raised over $30,000 for O-YA! The 'Goode Run is volunteer organized and led, which means 100% of the proceeds go right back into O-YA. This is very unique in the 'fundraising run' world. It's a run you can feel EXTRA good about!

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are always welcome at Race Central! On route dogs are only welcome on the 2K. Please do not take your furry friend in the 5K
Does the race allow strollers?
Strollers are permitted in the 2K!
How are prizes awarded?
Each year, the 'Goode Run partners with local businesses to offer great prizes for our runners! A few days before race day, you'll receive an email with important race details and prize information. Prizes are awarded by random draw—so be sure to read the email carefully! If you win, your prize will be available at race kit pick-up.
do you offer walk up registration?
Yes! We have walk up registration on the Friday before race day 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and on the Saturday of race day 7:00 am - 9:00 am in the Fred Alexander Room at the Stuart Holmes arena. Walk up registration is more expensive than pre-registering
Are there medals?
Yes! There are medals for both the 2K & 5K finishers as well as a special finisher coin for those who take on the Directors Challenge
When are the road closures?
Osgoode roads on the 2K Route will be CLOSED on Saturday, May 9 from approx. 8:45 am until approx. 10 am.
Osgoode roads on the 5K Route will be CLOSED on Saturday, May 9 from approx. 9:45 am until approx. 11 am.

How do I enter the costume contest?
Get creative and add some flair to your run — we’re encouraging all participants to wear a costume! What kind? That’s up to you! Just make sure it’s fun, safe, and easy to move in. Everyone in costume (youth, adults & dogs) in the 2K & 5K will be entered into a random prize draw. Just visit the white tent by the stage, show the volunteers your costume and they'll give you a ballot. Prizes will be announced at 9:45 am on the mainstage. Participants must be there to receive their prize.
Costumes are completely optional — feel free to come in your regular race gear if you prefer.

What is the refund policy?
The 'Goode Run is a fundraiser for the Osgoode Youth Association and registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; no exceptions.
Where is there water?
There is a refillable water bottle station available at Race Central thanks to Aquaholics! Water is also available at approximately the midway point on the 5K route.
