Cooking 101: Hands-On Food Skills for Grades 5-8
Join us for Cooking 101, a fun and interactive program designed for students in grades 5 to 8! Over five weeks, participants will learn essential food skills through hands-on activities in the kitchen. From basic techniques to creating delicious dishes, this program will help build confidence and inspire a lifelong love of cooking.
Who: Grades: 5 - 8
When: Tuesdays: February 4, 11, 18, 25, & March 4, 2025
Time: 6 pm - 8 pm

Lasagna Roll-Ups, Salad Bar & No-Bake S’mores Bars
Quesadillas, Brownies & Homemade Guacamole/Pico De Gallo
Sticky Garlic Chicken, Glazed Carrots & Bread Sticks
Fruit Salsa with Cinnamon Chips, Sweet & Sour Meatballs with Rice
Special Guest Week: Tracey Nesrallah will teach participants to make homemade Mac & Cheese accompanied by a salad with dressing from scratch!
