O-YA Cancellation / Refund / COVID-19 Policies
Before School Program & After School Homework Club
Participants in O-YA's Before School Program & After School Homework Club must provide 1 full month notice to withdraw payment from the program.
For example, if you cancel registration in the middle of May, you must pay for the remainder of May, plus the full month of June.
Registration Based Programs / Events
(PA Days, March Break, Summer Camp & Winter Camp, Leadership Camp, Camp Thursdays, Community Events such as Fall Harvest Dinner or Teen Programs such as Canadian Village, etc.)
Participants in O-YA's Registration Based Programs must provide a minimum of 24 hours cancellation notice to receive a refund on registration fees. This applies to both single day registrations, and the starting day of multi-day registrations.
Please note, if you have registered for any multi-day programs, no refunds will be given for cancelling a single day(s) of that program.
Fees paid for programs cancelled due to COVID-19 will be fully refunded.
The 'Goode Run
Refunds are not provided for 'Goode Run or Virtual 'Goode Run registration.
COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Participants and Visitors to O-YA
- O-YA staff will verify that everyone who enters our facility (age 12+) is fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (two doses plus 14 days; with a Health Canada or World Health Organization recognized COVID-19 vaccine).
- Participants and visitors coming inside will be required to show their vaccine certificates (either digital or paper copies) and identification confirming their name and date of birth.
- Repeat participants will only need to confirm their vaccine status on their first visit.
